More Doll Photos

My instructor didn't like the picture, or the other one from a slightly different angle. The important thing is that I like it, right?

This was taken with a large format camera (5 x 7) in a studio with tungsten lighting. I won't bore you with the lighting set-up or the exposure or processing details, except to say that I printed it on fibre paper.

Yeah! One of your tags should read bondage, for sure.
You just keep on suprising me.

What did your teacher not like about it the semi sadistic bondage of a baby?
You do like dolls don't you. lol

You can bore me all you want with the details.
I have not really used large format for potrait type pictres I used medium format for male nudes for a portfolio for college.

The effort for large format, is too much for lazy ass me great for architectural photos though.

I think you need to start a gallery for your " dolls". ;)

So, it's true when you say "I am: A Very Lazy Girl" I didn't believe it until now.

I have a colleague who's a large-format nut...what type of camera were you using? Just curious...

As for the details, I agree with coop...the devil's in the details, and these are amazing photographs.

You know what? I can't even remember what the camera was. It was a departmental camera, perhaps a Linhof or Graflex.

Hopefully, this is not a precursor to a CSI show...

There's no contrast between the blindfold and the background, giving the disconcerting feeling that the dolls head is severed down the middle, with the top of it floating in midair. I like the last doll you posted better. This one wishes it were as creepy as the other one, but it's trying too hard.
