The Times they are A-Changin'
All I will say today is that I am delighted by the election results south of the border (Alaska went red, but that's OK).
Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside
And it is ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'

Alaska always goes red, but it was a closer race here than it has been in a while. I was actually pretty impressed considering this is "Palin Country."
And I love Bob Dylan.
My county went for Obama. Actually all the big cities besides Houston--Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and the Rio Grande Valley and far west TX. I'm proud of that.
I know a lot of people who are terrified of the change that we hope is coming. Funny--these were the same people mocking others threatening to move to Canada in 2000/2004. Oh well, they'll learn to cope and maybe this country can do a little more about our shared values rather than just yelling about them.
I cried last night. I've felt so ashamed the last 8 years. I'm so happy now.
alex - I am a Bob fan too, although I spent my younger years not getting it.
kate - all the big cities in Canada vote leftish, and stay away from the Bush clone. It's an interesting phenomenon.
YA-Freakin-HOO!!!!!
Amen, Zydeco!
