I am watching the debate (the Canadian one) and find it both amusing and depressing. I don't understand why anyone would vote Conservative. Harper is doing his best to appear nice and moderate and friendly. He should have worn the sweater.

Sarah Palin's sort of Canadian. In my opinion. Of course, I also think that East Liverpool, Ohio is in West Virginia and Cincy is in Kentucky.

I usually wait for the debate to decide who to vote for, but I'm not sure. I did have some thoughts for anyone planning to vote based on looks though. :)

Liz: Yes, the debate was on the same night b/c our PM wanted to keep up with the Americans. I see you point about Palin, but she wouldn't pass for a Canadian.

SHJ: And who would you vote for based on looks? Layton is out, simply based on his mustache, unless he is trying to appeal to the gay or police vote.

Keep up with us? As in have politics as dreadful as ours?

Palin sounds Canadian to me. And all that hockey talk. WTF?

I can't bear to watch the debates. It's bad enough to get the blow by blow on twitter....

I had the same reaction to OUR debates. More depressing than amusing. The most amusing point was that Palin pronounces nuclear the same way Bush does. It's NOT nuke-you-ler you twats!
