Tom Cruise is Nuts, and here's the website to prove it. If you like that, be sure to visit FreeKatie.net.

I can't explain it, but just as I was writing that, I had this thought:

I feel sorry for any bird saddled with the words "lesser" of "common," like the Lesser Antillean Flycatcher, the Lesser Flamingo, the Lesser Bird-of-Paradise, the Common Bristlebill or the Common Gull. How drab and boring for them.

It could have been worse. It could have been called the "downright shitty flamingo"

I agree. It sort of sets the bird up to have an inferiority complex. "My beak isn't good enough, I have average plumage." Bad, bad. :)

Nobody wants to be common..... It made me think about names for trout flies.... the British call some of them 'fancies' to distinguish choice patterns, like Wickham's Fancy and Bousfield's Fancy.

Oh come on...she's raving mad too! She doesn't need freedom, she needs acting lessons.

Wow.

I think Tom Cruise started to lose it around Last Samuari. I mean, come on! The greatest warrior class of all time needs a former American Civil War officer to show them the meaning of sacrifice?!?

I'm waiting for Tom to strap on the Black Nikes, drink the Kool-Aid, and baricade himself up in a compound.

It'll happen. There's got to be a cult out in Texas somewhere missing its divine leader.

Well, if Katie is crazy too, then they might be perfect for each other. Maybe we should just wish them luck. Strangely, I have yet to see Katie act. It's true.

And, I have never seen Last Samuari, which is probably a good thing.

I understand the TomKat thing (yes, yes, I know I have used a disgusting media name), but as for the bird thing: Where do you come up with this crazy shit? :)

Maybe lesser is a compliment in the bird world; maybe Tom and Katie--I have no idea!

MK, I have no idea.

Ah, the birds are probably laughing at us for giving them names in the first place. Like, I'm a bird, man, I can fly and you can't, nyah nyah...
